Two Ocean Education Partners LLC (“We”) provides enrollment recruitment services to colleges and universities. We collect and use personal information in the performance of these services to our client institutions. We maintain the privacy and security of all information we collect, process and/or transfer or that is provided to us directly by our client institutions. Our use of personal information is governed by the client institutions we serve and their respective privacy policies.
We act as a data processor on behalf of the client institutions we serve. The client institution from whom we obtained your information and for whom we are collecting it controls how your personal information is used, including determining what information we collect. Please refer to that institution’s privacy policy to learn what may be collected and how it might be used.
In general, we collect the following information on behalf of our client institutions:
- Directory information, including your name, address, and email address;
- Application information;
- Admissions information;
- Financial aid information;
- Retention information; and
- Response-related information from various communication channels, including email, digital, and SMS text.
We transfer this information to the client institution from whom we obtained your information or for whom we are collecting it. In providing our services to client institutions, we utilize several third-party service providers, all of whom meet the same high standards as we do in protecting your privacy and the security of the information we collect, process, and transfer.
We use Google Analytics to identify trends and patterns related to how visitors engage and track performance of advertising. We use Tealium to unite activity across client channels and ensure that we are not serving users with redundant information about the college or university of their interest. We use FullStory for research, monitoring, and quality assurance. And we use Meta to select audiences and place targeted digital advertising on behalf of the client institution.
We will comply with any request made through a client institution pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation, which applies to citizens and/or residents of the European Union, as well as the California Consumer Protection Act, which applies to residents of the State of California.
